Preventive Care Is Key to Staying Healthy.

What is preventive care and why does it matter?

Getting preventive care services (or routine care) like health screenings, dental check-ups, and vaccinations, are key to keeping people of all ages healthy. Annual check-ups with your primary care physician (PCP) can help detect any health concerns early before they become major.

According to the CDC, regular annual checkups are separate from any other doctor’s visit for sickness or injury. In addition to physical exams, these visits focus on preventive care, such as:
  • Screening tests, which are medical tests to check for diseases early, when they may be easier to treat.
  • Vaccines (shots), that improve your health by preventing diseases and other health problems.
  • Dental cleanings.
  • Education and counseling to help you make informed health decisions.
  • Review of your family medical history.

Most health plans, including those offered through Lennox, cover eligible preventive care services at 100%. Your doctor must be in-network to be fully covered.

If you are a Lennox medical plan member, you can call Quantum Health directly for assistance scheduling an appointment with an in-network doctor or you can easily schedule a virtual appointment to meet with a primary care provider using Doctor on Demand.

Lennox is committed to offering year-round opportunities for you and your family members to check in on your well-being so you can stay healthy and feel your best for years to come. As a reminder, all employees have access to the LIIveWell Wellness Program at no additional cost.
