Expanding Your Family

Growing your family is a special and exciting time. It also means that you’ll have changes to your benefits.

Steps To Take To Make Sure You’re Covered

Lennox provides a variety of benefits and programs to assist you on your journey of becoming a parent.
  • Reach out to a Quantum Health Care Coordinator for assistance with finding a doctor and getting the care you need.
  • Considering adoption? Lennox will reimburse eligible employees up to $5,000 per calendar year for certain adoption-related expenses, including private or public adoption agency fees, court costs and legal fees. Review the information below to learn about eligibility and the reimbursement process.
  • Review Lennox’s maternity leave benefits and FMLA information to learn about taking time off of work to be with your new child(ren).
  • Consider bonding leave. Lennox offers up to 2 weeks of paid leave to bond with your new child. Bonding leave is available to employees regardless of your gender or marital status and you have up to 12 months after the birth or adoption to take the paid leave.
  • Update your benefit elections on BenefitSource within 31 days of the birth or adoption.
  • Submit a copy of the birth certificate or legal adoption papers to BenefitSource within 60 days of making benefit changes. Your new dependent’s benefits will not be effective until documentation is received.
  • Plan and budget for any new applicable costs that will be deducted from your paycheck.
  • Save tax-free money. Consider funding a Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) with pre-tax money to help pay for eligible out-of-pocket expenses. If you currently participate in an FSA, consider adjusting the amount(s) you contribute.
  • Update your 401(k) beneficiary by visiting Fidelity’s NetBenefits.com, or calling the Lennox International Retirement Services Center at (866) 783-5225, Monday – Friday between 7:30am and 7:30pm CST.
  • Enroll in supplemental coverage. Consider electing Dependent Life and AD&D Insurance to provide a valuable safety net for loved ones who depend on you financially. If already enrolled, consider updating your beneficiaries.
  • If enrolled in LegalShield’s legal services plan, consider creating/updating your will, appointing a guardian, or getting assistance with estate planning.
  • Contact the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) if you need personal support or for help in choosing childcare.
