Eligibility

At Lennox, we believe that providing comprehensive benefits is key to good health and financial security. That’s why we offer plans to you and your family that promote well-being in all areas.

Employees

You are eligible for benefits if you are:
  • Salaried: Scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week
  • Hourly: Scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week

Dependents

You can enroll your qualified dependents for many of the same plans you elect. Eligible dependents include:
  • Your legal spouse
  • Your children, through the last day of the month in which they turn 26, including: natural children, stepchildren, legally adopted children, or a child for whom you or your spouse has received a court order requiring you to provide benefits
  • Your children over age 26 if they are medically certified as disabled (prior to age 26) and dependent on you for support

Keep in Mind

When enrolling your dependents, there are a few important things to note:
  • You must enroll yourself and any eligible dependents in BenefitSource within 31 days of your benefits effective date.
  • If you miss your enrollment period, you will not be able to enroll until the next annual Open Enrollment period, unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event.
  • Dependent Verification: You will need to submit documentation (marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.) to BenefitSource within 60 days of electing benefits to enroll your dependents in coverage. Your dependent’s benefits will not be effective until documentation is received.
  • Certify Working Spouse Status: You will pay an additional $100 per month if you cover a spouse who is eligible for coverage under another employer’s medical plan. If this situation does not apply to you, be sure to answer the Working Spouse Status question accordingly, to avoid the surcharge. This question must be answered every year in BenefitSource.
