✓ Required Actions to Save On Medical Costs
You MUST answer these two questions every year to avoid extra costs in the next year, regardless of your status. Surcharges will apply accordingly in 2026 2026 if you fail to answer. If your status changes, submit an affidavit.- Certify Working Spouse Status. A $100 monthly Working Spouse surcharge will apply if you enroll a working spouse who is offered health coverage through their employer. If this does not apply and you wish to avoid the surcharge, answer “No” on the Working Spouse Status question in BenefitSource.
- Confirm Tobacco Use. A $150 per person monthly Tobacco Use surcharge will apply if you and/or your covered spouse uses tobacco and enrolls in a Lennox medical plan. If this does not apply and you wish to avoid the surcharge, answer “No” on the Tobacco Use question in BenefitSource.
✓ Adding a new dependent under your medical plan in 2026?
You MUST upload dependent verification documents (marriage certificate, birth certificate, adoption papers) in BenefitSource within 60 days of enrolling a new dependent in Lennox health coverage. Call (800) 284-4549 to confirm as dependent coverage will not be effective until eligibility is approved.- Dependent verification deadline: January 26, 2026
✓ Planning to save pre-tax money in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA)?
A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) lets you set aside pre-tax money to help pay for qualifying out-of-pocket medical, vision, dental, and/or dependent care expenses. Medical plan enrollment not required.- Health Care FSA (rollover eligible)
- 2026 Annual Contribution Limit: Increased to $3,400 (from $3,300)
- Rollover to 2027 Limit: Increased to $680 (from $660)
- Dependent Care FSA (use-it-or-lose-it)
- If single, 2026 Annual Contribution Limit: Increased to $7,500 (from $3,750)
- If married/filing separately, 2026 Annual Contribution Limit: Increased to $3,750 (from $2,500)
NOTE: All 2026 FSA participants will receive a NEW debit card from Navia Benefits in the mail with registration instructions. If you have a current active FSA, your TaxSaver Plan debit card will no longer be active as of midnight on 12/31/25.✓ Plan ahead to protect you and your loved ones.
These voluntary benefits can only be elected in BenefitSource during Open Enrollment. If you’re already enrolled in any of these plans, your current elections will carry over to 2026.

When you’ve elected benefit choices for 2026, made necessary changes, and completed all required actions in BenefitSource, you MUST click “Complete Enrollment” and save your confirmation.✓ Be on the lookout!
New and existing plan members will receive their 2026 health care ID card(s) and/or FSA debit card by mid to late December 2025. Coverage will take effect on January 1, 2026. NOTE: No coverage changes can be made outside of Open Enrollment unless a mid-year qualifying life event occurs. - Elect your benefits, click “Complete Enrollment”, and save your confirmation.
If you do not fulfill the required actions or complete enrollment by 11:59pm CST on November 17, 2025…
- Your current health care elections and dependents will carry over at the 2026 costs.
- You will incur applicable Working Spouse and Tobacco Use surcharges starting January 1.
- Your current supplemental and voluntary insurance elections will carry over at the 2026 costs.
- Your current Health Care and/or Dependent Care FSA elections will not carry over into 2026.
- You will continue to receive Company-paid Basic Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability (STD), and EAP benefits and have access to the Calm and LIIveWell programs.
Each year, we evaluate our benefits program to ensure it remains competitive with similar companies in our market. In 2026, medical plan rates will increase slightly, and VIVIO will be replaced by Optum Rx for specialty medication services, but all other Lennox benefit offerings and costs will remain the same.
Here are some tips to reduce your health care costs even further…
- Certify Working Spouse status.
- Confirm Tobacco Use status.
- Take advantage of the pre-tax Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options.
- Stay in-network and prioritize preventive care.
- Complete the annual health screening requirements.
